AST (Automated System Testing) is an Avaloq Banking System-based tool for test automation. AST accesses the test target via the Avaloq Open Interface.

AST CORE
AST Core may be used in all testing phases, from unit to system testing as well as in different testing situations such as regression and functional testing, performance and readiness tests. AST has proven to be the most efficient test tool in the Avaloq world in terms of initial setup cost, test case creation, test execution and maintenance.

AST CONTROL PANEL
The AST Control Panel provides a web based graphical user interface (GUI) to the AST Core to ease the creation, management, execution and reporting of test cases. drag and drop selection of test case properties. Automatic test case-generation to generate templates based on Management reports and test execution history. Avaloq syntax verifier to validate Avaloq Script expressions

AST WEB
The AST Web Testing module provides functionalities to record web tests via a Selenium IDE Plugin in FireFox and/or via iMacros in Chrome. It enables companies to verify a website by comparing its contents (e.g. text, pictures) and its look and feel pixel by pixel. Recorded tests can be run on multiple browsers with features such as automatic recognition of frames, multiple Xpath and locators for the same element. In addition, it can be integrated with AST core testing (e.g. Avaloq, other databases or REST services) in order to verify end-to-end processes
